I also want to thank Dr. Grant Lund, Dr. Ed Smith, Pat Reagan and Sarah Riley of the Art Department for being true mentors in many ways. Today I work in an art museum and have had many adventures during and after my years at SEMO ('95-'99). in various ways, I have benefited from and shared their wisdom with others, as an educator now, myself. I find myself reflecting on their philosophies and teachings from time to time. When I went to grad school in Massachusetts in 2007, I contacted Dr. Lund and he took the time and care to write to me from retirement. He sent a packet of information to help me in my studies, and I dearly enjoy his family holiday card each year - always a work of art and inspiration. To see this huge list of names and stories makes me take pride in Southeast even more than ever. Thank you for setting the bar high and maintaining the legacy...
