| Dear Friends, For the second consecutive year, more than 1,900 freshmen chose to further their education at Southeast Missouri State University this fall. Total enrollment was up 2.7 percent from last year. It was an incredibly busy start to the semester meeting students and parents during the Move-In Day check-in process, helping a few students move into the residence halls, and greeting some very talented freshmen at the Welcome Convocation who promise to do great things at Southeast. Highlights of the weekend were the Friday night Ice Cream Pig Out and the annual Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce/University Welcome Back Student Picnic at the Show Me Center where merchants and campus departments and organizations had the opportunity to share what they have to offer with students.I hope you get the opportunity to meet some of our terrific students during Homecoming this year.
